I focus on building strong, trusting relationships with each child and family I work with. My approach is based on relational learning, which means that children grow and learn best through safe, supportive relationships. Instead of using rewards or strict behaviour programs, I get to know each child and follow their lead - helping them learn through connection, shared experiences, and mutual respect. Some sessions are more structured and focus on specific goals; others are more relaxed and playful. There’s no single “right” way to do music therapy - we find what works best for your child. Music gives kids a way to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others, and I believe the process we go through together is just as valuable as the music we create.
